Comics I've Read From August 22, 2007
So, I read a little bit of everything this week. Mouse Guard Winter 1152 #1 lived up to David Peterson's previous Mouse Guards. I read the last series in one fell swoop, but I don't think I can wait this time. I guess I'll read and re-read them. Complete Peanuts Vol. 8 came out this week, and my son was very kind to point out that these are the years where surfing Snoopy made his debut. Duncan was quite young when I taught the "Cowabunga!" yell. Ahhhh, Peanuts.....I'll never outgrow it! World War Hulk Gamma Files was wonderful for me because I'm still trying to learn who all of these Hulk characters are. World War Hulk Gamma Corps was smashing!!(ha..ha..) Batman #668 reminded that I need to read Batman more regularly to keep up, especially with Grant Morrison writing. What is it about Sam Kieth that keeps me reading his work? (Batman Lobo #1) It must be the humor because he's not exactly kind to his female characters, oh and that unique drawing style. I need to read some more of Bill Willingham's work (I read Fables and Shadowpact). Any suggestions?
